Sally called round today with some cans of paint, she's been unsure what colour to paint the tank and mudguards on the bobber, or whether to leave them in raw steel. Any comments? Answers on a postcard!!
left my sporty chop in raw andy, just rubbed it down with scotchbrite when it started to rust and sprayed it with ac-90 / wd- 40, just something really nice about not worrying about scratching shiny paint, 'ya dig?
Sounds cool Tim, but The tank's got filler in, rest of the bike's ok tho, might have to paint the tank. Think she's leaning toward the blue for tank and mudguards, but with the battery box/fork shrouds/headlight in raw.
I like raw steel . Problem is that it'll never stay that way.
ReplyDeleteReckon it'd be ok if we lacquer it tho Rob?

Delete2nd or 4th for me, how on earth did you do the 4 mock up pics, I'm assuming you didn't just paint the tank 4 times.
