Last night I went to the Nags Head to watch and listen as top chap and Bantam racer Mike Powell stripped and rebuilt his engine.

It was organised by the local branch of the BSA Bantam club. Mike (last year's champion) explained, and showed everyone there, how he got a 50's 125 to do over 100 mph consistently. Not that there's much original Bantam left, mainly the frame loop, modified engine casings and rear hub! He also said that it was the same bike he'd been racing for the past 25 years, well the same like Trigger's brush!
