Still bobbin' along.

Took the A7 out for a spin the other day. Despite another head, new valves and rings it's still eats the odd sparkplug. I got rid of the plug caps, one of them came apart when I was changing a plug, but it's still hard to start. Jim checked the compression, not outstanding at 140psi per cylinder, but adequate. It's still running a bit rich, so next job, revisit the carburettor. I did manage to find a timing chest with the piled arms logo on it, I know that's not going to make it run any better but the old
one looked wrong somehow!
